League keeper rules
  • 2 keepers per team, max, from last season's roster.
  • 3 seasons on a roster, max — the year they were acquired counts as season 1. That means a player can be kept twice, then returns to the pool.
  • Rounds 1–2 originals always cost a 1st to keep, every season, no exceptions.
  • Everyone else: first keeper season costs the original round − 1; second costs that − 2. Drafted in the 5th → 4th → 2nd → pool.
  • Waiver pickups (OBJ Rule): cost is one round later than the player's ADP round. ADP of the 10th or later is capped at the final round. Must have been rostered 3+ consecutive active weeks.
  • Injury exception: a season where a rostered player scored in 3 or fewer games due to injury doesn't count toward the 3-season cap. Must be kept in the IR slot, and must be confirmed manually — the app only flags candidates.
Picked up off waivers?

The boards only record drafted players, and the live Sleeper feed that would say how someone joined a roster isn't reporting yet — so this can't be worked out automatically. For a waiver pickup, price him by hand:

  • OBJ Rule. The cost is one round later than his ADP round in the upcoming draft. An ADP in the 2nd costs a 3rd.
  • Deep pickups. An ADP of the 10th round or later is capped at the final round of the draft.
  • Eligibility. He must have been rostered 3+ consecutive active weeks. He doesn't have to have started.
  • After the first year he follows the normal ladder: the previous keeper cost minus 2.

Once the Sleeper connection is working this will detect the acquisition type and price it for you.

Injured most of a season?

A season where a rostered player scored in 3 games or fewer because of injury doesn't count toward the 3-season cap, and he must be kept in the IR slot. Stats can show that a player didn't score but never why, so this is never applied automatically — check with the commissioner, then read the ladder one row higher than it says.
